Community Music School Enrolling New Students for Summer
Interested in music lessons? The Community Music School offers one-on-one instruction on most instruments and voice, at three St. Louis locations. People of all ages and ability levels can be matched with one of the 80 master music teachers during New Student Registration. Walk-in registration for the summer session (June 13-July 25) is available at these locations:
- Webster Groves*: Saturday, June 2, 10 am-2 pm (535 Garden Avenue, next to the Loretto Hilton Center); Tuesday, June 5 at 10 am-1 pm and 4-7 pm (200 Hazel Ave., street entrance); Thursday, June 7 at 10 am-1 pm and 4-7 pm (200 Hazel Ave., street entrance).

You can sign up for lessons after these dates by calling 314-968-5939. While student attendance at registration is optional, students are welcome to attend with a parent and see the facilities – they will not need to bring an instrument or music (no audition required). The six-week summer session is a great time to begin music lessons, whether you’re a beginner, a school music student wanting to stay in playing shape, or an adult returning to music.
