Webster Groves businesses, city officials and commuters celebrated the opening of Murdoch Bridge Oct. 16.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and special parade with vehicles from city public works, fire department and Webster Groves Subaru marked the new transportation route.

Cravings, one of many businesses affected by the bridge closing, provided a bridge-shaped cake to share. Cravings' Tim Brennan said his business was down 50 percent over the six-month period the bridge was closed.
