Cops Make Two Arrests: Drug Gear and Assault
The incidents and arrests both happened last weekend.
Webster Groves police got involved in two incidents in the early morning hours on Saturday, Nov. 10, that resulted in arrests and charges filed in municipal court, according to police Capt. Michael Nelson.
The first, at 12:50 a.m., occurred during a traffic stop in the 400 block of Oak, when police stopped a 21-year-old man and found a marijuana pipe in his possession.
Nelson said the man was arrested and issued a municipal charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
A short time later in a second incident, at 1:55 a.m., police arrested an 18-year-old man in the 8400 block of Big Bend after he and a 21-year-old woman got into a fight over a cell phone.
The man was issued a city charge of third-degree assault and released with a summons to appear in court.
