A resident of the 400 block of Gascony Way reported an attempted fraud on a Craigslist ad he had posted for an item for sale. An individual claiming to be from out of state sent a check with an address from another different state for significantly more than the item's cost with instructions to cash the check and use the overage to pay someone in cash to ship the item when they arrived to collect it. The resident contacted police realizing it was fraud.

Thursday, January 10

A 42-year-old Glendale woman was arrested and charged in municipal court with driving while intoxicated after her vehicle struck several other vehicles in a parking lot at 9961 Manchester Road at 12:10 p.m. She was transported to a hospital for care because of her high intoxication level.
