Crime Log: Drug Arrests and Found Bicycles
The following information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department for the week ending Nov. 19. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.
Sunday, Nov. 13
- Police arrested a 42-year-old man shortly after midnight for attempting to steal tires from Dobbs in the 1200 block of S. Laclede Station Rd.
- At approximately 2:30 a.m. an unknown person kicked in the rear door of an apartment in the first block of Waymire. The suspect did not enter the apartment and fled immediately.
- A blue Schwinn bicycle was found at Clark School, 9100 Big Bend. The bike was brought to the Webster Groves police station for safekeeping.
Thursday, Nov. 17
A blue and white Mongoose bike was found in a yard in the 100 block of S. Elm; it was brought to the Webster Groves police station for safekeeping.
Friday, Nov. 18
- In the 800 block of S. Gore, someone used a victim’s credit card without the victim's permission. Police are investigating and have identified a person of interest.
- During a traffic stop at S.Elm and Watson, police discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Saturday, Nov. 19
- A girl’s blue bike was found in the first block of Joy and brought to the Webster Groves police station for safekeeping.
- During a traffic stop at S. Elm and Oaktree, police discovered the driver in possession of marijuana; the driver was arrested.
