Dozer has it rough. It's tough with spring aproaching for him and nothing to do except catch up on some napping because he doesn't like to help with the spring chores around the house. He definitely thinks he is a lap dog at 60lbs.

We love dogs. You love dogs. So it seems only obvious that we both love pictures of your dogs.

That's why this week, in honor of National Puppy Day—that's right, a day dedicated to your little pup on March 23—Patch is soliciting photos of its readers and their furry friends.

Upload pictures of your puppy—or in some cases, puppies—and we'll host them in a gallery for all to see.

The catch? Glad you asked.

While uploading your photo, be sure to tell us your name, where you are from and the name of your pooch—and even a little bit about them if you feel so inclined. Then on Friday and throughout the weekend, we'll hold a St. Louis-wide vote for best puppy. The winner gets bragging rights as cutest pup in St. Louis.

To upload a photo of your dog, just click on the "Add your own photos and videos" link underneath the photo in the rop right of this article. It's as easy as that.

And after you've uploaded your photo, be sure to leave a comment about why you love your puppy.

Hi all, well, I love my puppy, because he is also my baby, a member of my family we all love so much. He has wonderful personality - he is smart big dog yet young, crazy, vulnerable puppy that loves to sleep in my bed. He demands a lot of love, hugs and kisses. When he gets scared he always comes to me to protect him. He "talks" a lot and just recently started barking at strangers ;) Have a great day
