Items Stolen in Warson Woods Burglary Recovered in Fenton
The following information was supplied by the Warson Woods Police Department for the period ending May 6. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.
Monday, April 23
A solicitor complaint was received in the 400 block of Medina Dr. at 6:13 p.m. An officer located the man, and he was advised to cease until he obtained a solicitor’s permit from city hall.
Wednesday, April 25
Police investigated a burglary that occurred on Ridge Line Drive. The garage door to the home had been left open during the day, and jewelry and an I-phone valued at about $1,385 were taken from the house. The crime actually occurred on April 10.
Within hours of being notified of the crime, Officer Brent Goewert took the victim to identify and recover some of the stolen property, which had been seized by St. Louis County Police during the search of a hotel room in Fenton.
A 27-year-old Ballwin man was arrested for second-degree burglary and stealing over $500. The suspect is now being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on other area burglary charges. Formal charges are pending in this case with the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Thursday, April 26
A report of a vehicle lockout with a child inside was received from a business in the 10000 block of Manchester Rd. at 6 p.m. An officer was able to unlock the car quickly, and the child was unharmed.
Thursday, May 3
A resident of Ridge Line Drive reported someone had rifled through her unlocked car while it was parked on the driveway during the overnight hours. No valuables were in the ca,r and nothing was reported missing. Residents are reminded not to leave valuables in vehicles and to always lock cars.
Friday, May 4
Police were dispatched to a noise disturbance in the 1000 block of North Dr. at 9:45 p.m. A resident was hosting a party and agreed to turn down the music.
Saturday, May 5
Police were dispatched to a noise disturbance in the 800 block of Rolfe Dr. at 11:10 p.m. A resident was hosting a party and agreed to turn down the music.
