July 4: Webster Groves Community Days Schedule of Events

Get ready for a spectacular parade, rides, games and live entertainment!

 

WEDNESDAY, JULY 4 

  • Fourth of July Parade (10 a.m.) The parade will begin at Lockwood and Selma to S. Gore to Big Bend to Elm to E. Glendale (Memorial Park). the theme of this year's parade is "Patriotic Webster Groves – Hometown USA,” which was submitted by Fred W. “Bill” Moore of Webster Groves. The grand marshalls of this year’s parade will be local military veterans. In addition, volunteers from Webster Groves Masonic Temple to serve as parade marshalls again this year, lining up units, enforcing security measures and securing the course. Judges will also be veterans from different eras.   
  • Lions Club Carnival, Midway Booths and barbecue (11 a.m. - 11 p.m.) Lions Club Carnival, Midway Booths and barbecue will be held at Memorial Park 
  • Entertainment by Featherstone Drive (8 –11 p.m.) (with a break for fireworks) This classic and danceable rock n’ roll band will perform at the Action Park. Featherstone Drive consists of vocalist Camille Marolf, Keith Kolarder on keyboards, Bert Schaefer on bass, Tom Tierney on guitar and Rick Kelly on drums. Come out for sing-along, dancing and fun toe-tapping to songs such as “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “You’re No Good,”  “Twist and Shout,” “Born to Be Wild,” "Barracuda,” “Think” and many more of your classic favorites.  
  • Fireworks Spectacular (9:45 p.m.) This event has been canceled due to extreme weather conditions.
