The Things We Steal

Beer was reported stolen Oct. 15 from a business in Mehlville.

Three sets of hair clippers were reported stolen Oct. 4 from a Maplewood Commons business.

Now He's Really on the Hot Seat

A man concealed 12 tubes of Preparation H in the waistband of his pants on Oct. 8 at  Shop ‘N Save at 45 Gravois Bluffs Plaza in Fenton, and exited the store making no attempt to pay. When asked why he stole so many he stated, “I have really bad hemorrhoids.” He was arrested.

Yes, the Kitchen Sink

A door and a kitchen sink were reported stolen Oct. 11 in the 12100 block of Tesson Ferry Rd. in Concord.

Adding insult to injury

A window was broken in the 2800 block of Oakland Ave. in Maplewood on Oct. 3. The victim's car was also egged.

The Thief Still Owns a VCR?

Sixty miscellaneous VHS videotapes, valued at $100, were stolen Oct. 3 from a residence on Major Drive in Fenton. Entry was made by forcing a rear window, which was damaged in the burglary. A door window also was damaged. The cost of the damage was estimated at $175.

Big Yellow Bus Will be Hard to Hide

A 40-foot yellow school bus was stolen Oct. 14 from a location on Commerce Road in High Ridge. The bus has a GPS system but it does not work. The keys were left in the bus at the time it was stolen.
