Large Pit Bull Picked Up, Owner Issued Several Citations
The following information was supplied by the Rock Hill Police Department for the week ending March 7. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.
Thursday, March 1
- Police received a call about a missing person in the 300 block of Thornton. Further investigation revealed the person was in custody at a police department.
- Police responded to the 200 block of Eldridge for a disturbance. One person was taken into custody.
Friday, March 2
Police were called for a disturbance in the 300 block of Madison. Two people were escorted from the residence.
Saturday, March 3
- An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 800 block of Blossom. A tow notice was placed on the vehicle.
- Two people were spotted in a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Euclid. After interviewing the subjects, police sent them on their way.
Monday, March 5
A resident reported an identity theft incident to police. The information was gathered and the credit agency was notified.
Tuesday, March 6
A large pit bull was taken into custody by rabies control from the Crestvale area. The owner was given several citations by the animal control officer.
Wednesday, March 7
A resident in the 1000 block of Raritan reported that his gun was stolen from his vehicle. He was unsure of where his vehicle was parked when the gun was stolen.
