Lindwedel Jewelers Expands with New Fashion Jewelry Shop
Looking for bling? You'll find it at Two Doors Down, which also offers trendy accessories for women and children.
Lindwedel Jewelers has opened a new fashion jewelry shop in Old Webster called Two Doors Down at 132 W. Lockwood Ave. The reason for the name? Because it's actually two doors down from Lindwedel's.
The store carries trendy fashion jewelry, scarves, capes and jeweled flip-flops. It also has a children's section with jewelry, animal hats, bows and headbands. Items range between $8 and $200.
"It's a real housewives of St. Louis store," said Antoinette Lindwedel, the shop's owner. "You can spend as little as $20 and get something really cute and don't have to feel guilty about going home and hiding the shopping bag from your husband."
Lindwedel has been in the jewelry business for six years with her husband Phil. She said the fine jewelers had carried fashion jewelry since last summer, but that it started getting crowded in the shop.
"When Viva closed, we decided to take the space and expand the fashion jewelry part of the business," she said.
The store has a drawing customers can enter to win a $100 gift certificate for the new shop. The winner will be chosen Sunday during Old Webster Christmas Open House.
Two Doors Down is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed on Sunday and Monday. For more information, call 314-961-9613.
