Man Assaults Girlfriend, Then Steals Her Car in Webster Groves

The following information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department for the week ending June 9. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

 

Sunday, June 3

  • The driver's side cargo-area window of a vehicle that was parked in the 400 block of Catalina was shattered between May 31 and June 3.
  • A 47-year-old man assaulted his girlfriend around 4 a.m. in the 500 block of Holland. The suspect then took the victim's car and fled the scene. Police have identified a suspect and are investigating.

Wednesday, June 6

A man was caught on a video surveillance camera stealing two bottles of liquor from Schnucks in 8600 block of Big Bend at 10:25 p.m. The suspect was last seen running east on Big Bend.

Friday, June 8

Police arrested a 34-year-old suspect at Ivory Crockett Park for being in possession of a controlled substance. Charges are pending.
