The St. Louis County Police Department is offering a video to help people who may find themselves in the middle of an active shooter event.

 

Based on recent current events around the nation involving active shooter incidents, St. Louis County Police Department has added a video on its website in an effort to provide guidance for those who might find themselves in the middle of a life-threatening situation The video can be viewed with this article or found on the county police website at www.stlouisco.com/police. It's the video in the upper right hand corner called "Run. Hide. Fight."

The professionally made video provides a chilling scenario that, sadly, some people have found themselves in the middle of recently. It explains what steps people can take to survive a potentially deadly situation. Sgt. James McWilliams, a media relations officer with the St. Louis County Police Department, announced the "Run. Hide. Fight." video in a media advisory Monday.
