Suspicious Vehicle Call Nets Drug Bust in Webster Groves

The following information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department for the week ending April 14. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

 

Monday, April 9

Police observed a suspicious subject in the 500 block of N. Elm Ave. around 9:10 p.m. A check revealed he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged.

Tuesday, April 10

  • While investigating a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Tuxedo at 3:30 am, police located drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Both occupants were arrested and charged. 
  • Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on April 9 and 9:30 a.m. on April 10, someone damaged five windows of a home in the first block of Ravine.
  • A suspicious person was reported around 11:50 a.m. by the mother of a 5-year-old girl in the first block of Bompart. The mother advised she was concerned that an adult male had approached her and her daughter with a pet and spoke with her child. The suspicious person was identified, and it was determined that no crime had occurred.

Wednesday, April 11

A man flourished a handgun during a road rage incident on Interstate 44 near Laclede Station Road around 2:10 p.m. The suspect was located and arrested shortly after the incident. Warrants were issued for unlawful use of a weapon.

Thursday, April 12

A handgun and cash were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Barron Lane. The incident occurred between 1 a.m. and 6 p.m.
