Suspicious Vehicle Call Results in Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Rock Hill Police Department for the week ending Feb. 29. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

 

Thursday, Feb. 23

Police received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle at a repair shop in the 9300 block of Manchester Rd. Police arrived and learned that the driver was wanted by another jurisdiction. The subject was taken into custody.

Friday, Feb. 24

A panhandler was stopped and questioned by police after she was seen approaching people in the business district of the 9500 block of Manchester Rd. The subject was sent on her way and advised not to return to the area.

Saturday, Feb. 25

Suspicious activity was observed at a home in the 1000 block of Charleville. Several vehicle checks were conducted without incident.

Sunday, Feb 26

  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of Raritan. 
  • A theft attempt was reported at a local food store in the 9800 block of Manchester Rd. The subjects were confronted by store management and left prior to police arrival.
