Thieves Steal Purses From Cars in Webster

The Webster Groves police blotter for Oct. 20-26. The following information was provided by the Webster Groves Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Sunay, Oct. 21
- Sometime between the evening of Oct. 20 and the morning of Oct. 21, someone damaged a parked vehicle in the 500 block of Ivanhoe Place.
Monday, Oct. 22
- An employee of Charter Cable reported that the rear window of his truck was broken while he was working in a home in the 500 block of Florence Avenue. Nothing was missing from the truck.

- Between 4:50-9:40 p.m. someone broke the window of a parked vehicle in the first block of Moody Avenue. A purse was stolen from the passenger side of the vehicle.
Tuesday, Oct. 23
- Sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 8:20 a.m. on Oct. 24, someone stole a purse that was left in an unlocked, parked vehicle in the 100 block of South Elm.

Friday, Oct. 26
- At 4:15 a.m., a subject was arrested and charged for possession of marijuana on the parking lot of Freddie’s Market, 9052 Big Bend Boulevard.
- Between 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 and 7:25 a.m. on Oct. 26, someone stole an iPod 2 from a locked cabinet in the Student Center of Webster University.
