Warson Woods Police Investigating $22,000 in Thefts From One Home

The following information was supplied by the Warson Woods Police Department for the period ending Aug. 12. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 8

A 29-year-old University City woman was arrested at the Glendale Police Department for defaulting on payment of court fines and costs from a previous traffic violation. She was released after making payment in full.

Friday, Aug. 10

A 23-year-old Kirkwood man was arrested and charged in municipal court following a 10:15 a.m. traffic stop on Beauford Drive at N. Woodlawn Avenue. He had had no valid driver's license, was possession of drug paraphernalia and had fugitive charges from the St. Louis County Police Department. He was released to St. Louis County authorities after posting a $300 bond on the Warson Woods charges.

Saturday, Aug. 11

  • A 47-year-old Warson Woods man was issued a summons at his home on Ridge Line Drive to appear in municipal court for passing a bad check (under $500) at 11 a.m relative to a report taken by police on July 11.
  • At 4:45PM, a resident of the 400 block of Doral Drive reported the theft of several items from her home over the past several months valued at almost $22,000. Warson Woods police are investigating several individuals that have been working in the house over the course of the year.
