Water Main Break Buckles Watson Near Elm in Webster

It's the second break in as many days, causing some traffic tie-ups in the area.

Water won't be turned on until about 4 p.m. today along a water main that broke on Watson Road, just west of Elm.

A report by KMOV-TV said workers had repaired the break in the water line by about noon today, but the report said the break had buckled the pavement on Watson. Authorities blocked the eastbound lanes and traffic used the center turn lane to proceed east.

Another water main break on the Webster University campus on Wednesday caused some traffic tie-ups and the cancellation of classes on the campus in the evening.

Wednesday's break was at Big Bend Boulevard and Plymouth Avenue.
