Webster Groves-Area Teens Advance in Talent Competition
Two students from Webster Groves high schools made it to the semifinals in the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition.
Two Webster Groves-area performers are advancing to the semifinal round of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition.
The two talented teens are Wes Ragland, a Webster Groves High School student who sings under the name "Casper Ghost," and Berklea Going, a Nerinx Hall student who sings and dances.
Last weekend’s preliminary competition narrowed the field from more than 100 to only 32 acts. Winners at the competition will earn thousands of dollars in scholarships, and universities and organizations, such as Lindenwood University or The Muny, are also offering scholarships and prizes.
The semifinals will be March 31. The final 12 will perform at The Fabulous Fox Theater on April 27.
