Crime Log: Two Arrested for Narcotics Possession at Webster Schnucks

The following information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department for the week ending June 30. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

 

Sunday, June 24 

At 11:30 p.m. two male suspects tried to take a bank deposit bag from an employee of Dairy Queen at 7809 Big Bend as she was walking to her car. The employee held onto the bag and shouted for help. The suspects fled northbound on Laclede Station Road.

Monday, June 25

  • A vehicle was damaged while parked on the street in the 800 block of Cornell at 2 a.m.
  • A Coach purse containing cash and credit cards was taken from an unlocked car that was parked in the driveway of a home in the 300 block of West Jackson. The incident occurred between the evening of June 24 and the morning of June 25. 
  • Sometime between June 24 and June 25, items were taken from unlocked vehicles while they were parked in the driveway of  homes in the 200 block of Blackmer and the 500 Block of Ivanhoe.
  • At 11:45 p.m. two suspects were arrested on the parking lot of Schnucks at 8650 Big Bend for possession of illegal narcotics.

Wednesday, June 27

Between June 25 and June 27 an unsecured bicycle was taken from the carport of a home in the 500 block of Hollywood.

Friday, June 29

  • Between 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. someone entered a home in the 1500 block of Drayton through an unlocked rear door and stole a 47-inch TV and several other items. Possible suspects were seen driving a 90s model dark colored Ford Contour.
  • Someone entered a home in the 900 block of Greeley by breaking a pane of glass from a rear door and stole cash and jewelry. The incident occurred between 4:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. 

Saturday, June 30

  • Someone damaged the driver’s side door of a vehicle that was parked on the parking lot of 7857 Big bend between 4:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
  • At 7 p.m a Green Chevrolet Cavalier driven by a black man left the Sullins Gas & Wash at 3157 South Brentwood without paying for $42 worth of gas.
