Halloween is synonymous with scary movies. That's why the staff at the Webster Groves Public Library compiled a list of their favorite ghost and haunted house movies. Check these out, but don’t blame staff members if you’re afraid to sleep in the dark after watching them!

  • Paranormal Activity (2007, Rated R)
  • Poltergeist (1982, Rated PG)
  • R-Point (2004, Rated R)
  • Ring (2002, Rated PG-13)
  • Sixth Sense (1999, Rated PG-13)
  • Shining (1980, Rated R)
  • The Old Dark House (1932, Not Rated)

The movies listed above are available for rent at the Webster Groves Public Library, which is a member of Municipal Library Consortium of St. Louis County. The movies may also be available at the eight member libraries of the consortium, including the Rock Hill Public Library.
