All of my restaurant recommendations are very kid-centric:
Dr. Jazz,
Serendipity Ice Cream,
First Watch,
Dewey's

Some neat shops around town include:
Gymboree,
Roger's Produce,
Euclid Records,
The Hub,
O'Faolain Irish Dance Academy (not a store per se, but definitely a cool addition to Old Webster)

I know I'm forgetting several places too.

Look forward to seeing the final list!

Boardwalk Cafe in Old Orchard. Incredible blueberry pancakes. Fantastic hamburgers (I usually take half home). French fries and hash browns made fresh each day from real potatoes. Great prices.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions! I've included them in the list linked in this article here:

Foursquare users can follow the list and check off the places as you check-in. I know I still have plenty to visit!
