WW Police Report: Two Intoxicated Women Found Lying on Street Listening to Music
The following information was supplied by the Warson Woods Police Department for the period ending July 29. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.
Sunday, July 22
Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of N. Woodlawn Avenue at 10:55 a.m. for a report of a suspicious person. A woman holding a baby was reportedly panhandling. She voluntarily left the area upon police arrival.
Monday, July 23
- Police responded to the 1400 block of Reauville Drive for a domestic disturbance at 12:15 a.m. Neither party wished prosecution, and the matter was resolved when one of the pair agreed to leave for the evening.
- Police arrested a 25-year-old Northwoods man and charged him in municipal court with soliciting without a permit in the 500 block of Beaucaire Drive. He had an outstanding warrant from the St. Charles City Police Department for the same offense. He was released after posting $450 bond for both agencies. A 22-year-old Northwoods woman that was soliciting with him was issued a summons to appear in court and was released at the scene.
Wednesday, July 25
Police were called to check the welfare of two females reportedly lying on the roadway in the 400 block of Flanders drive at 12:45 a.m. Upon arrival, the officer located the pair, both 22, who were intoxicated, and in fact, lying in the street listening to music. They returned home to a nearby residence.
Friday, July 27
A 40-year-old St. Louis man was arrested and charged in municipal court with driving with a revoked license and numerous fugitive charges from the Clayton and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Departments following an 8:40 p.m traffic stop for an equipment violation in the 9900 block of Manchester Road. He was released after posting a $250 bond on the Warson Woods charges and with new court dates from the other agencies. His passenger, a 39 year old St. Louis man, was initially released at the scene but was located and arrested shortly thereafter as a pedestrian on Berry Road by Glendale Police after a delayed response from St. Louis authorities on outstanding fugitive charges.
Sunday, July 29
A 42-year-old Glendale woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 10000 block of Manchester Road at 12:15 a.m. after another motorist called 911 to report seeing her vehicle strike the curb several times. She was released after posting a $250 bond.
