The Hangover Part III Patch Blogger Mark Glass: *** Those who have hung with the rather ironically, if not delusionally, dubbed "Wolfpack" through two madcap raunchy adventures will certainly show up for this (promised) final foray into the unintended consequences of guys-being-guys revelries. This time, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha don’t suffer the effects of a bachelor-party-run-amok. They’ve supposedly learned their lessons. The other three are driving Zach to …

Webster Grooves, a retro soul music festival, filled up Gore Avenue in Old Webster Saturday with music and food. Watch Rhythm Section Road Show perform at Webster Grooves in the video above. With a line-up of 11 soul musicians and DJs, and a showing of soul films at the end of the night, the festival kicked off Saturday at 2 p.m. and was scheduled to wrap up around 11. In its first year, Webster Grooves closed down Gore Avenue between Lockwood Avenue and the train tracks. Euclid Owner Joe Schwab took the idea and crafted it into more than an unofficial grand opening for the record store's new home on Gore. Euclid Owner Joe Schwab took the idea and crafted it into more than an unofficial grand opening for the record store's new home on Gore. After moving across town from Lockwood Avenue and filling space at 19 North Gore earlier this month, Euclid included La Cantina, CJ Mugg's and other local businesses in the festival May 18. Star Trek: Into Darkness Patch Blogger Mark Glass: **** It’s time again to boldly go...where tons of TV and movie cameras have gone before. Space. The final frontier. For context, this is the second feature film showing the original crew of the Enterprise in the beginning of their careers, in an alternate time line, allowing both overlaps and variations from the stories and characters that started the whole franchise. That allows Benedict Cumberbatch (best known as a contemporary Sherlock Holmes…

The Great Gatsby Patch Blogger Mark Glass: **½ This latest screen version of the classic novel is a mixed bag of assets and flaws. Director and co-writer Baz Lurhrmann ambitiously tries for a 3-D spectacle with several lavish party scenes that Busby Berkeley would have envied. He inserts bits of anachronistically modern music into this 1922 setting. That worked beautifully in his Moulin Rouge, and hilariously in the opening joust of A Knight’s Tale, but feels overly…

If you haven’t seen the first two flicks, don’t start here. You’ll be missing too much backstory to get into the flow.
