We Need a Friend! Your Support Helps the Webster Groves Farmers Market Grow

Did you know that the Webster Groves Farmers Market relies wholly on the financial support of the community for its operations?

Our market is a non-profit organization that exists to connect the citizens of Webster Groves with regional farmers and producers who bring us fresh, locally grown and raised products each week during the growing season.

The market is looking for a few good friends. A $10 donation makes a big difference to our operations. With your help, more farmers, chefs and family entertainment can be part of each week's market. Your contribution can help us maintain the market's tents, purchase better equipment and generally improve the experience for everyone.

If you become a Friend of the Market, your name will be entered into a monthly raffle for gift certificates and products from Webster's businesses. Friends of the Market also will be featured on the website and in next season's brochure.  And, all Friends will receive the highly coveted WGFM car magnet that states your intention to "buy local."

In addition to our friends program, the market is supported by wonderful sponsors including the City of Webster Groves, Commerce Bank, the Old Orchard Business District, Pacific Place, Webster University and Webster Groves Subaru. Tent sponsors include the Back & Neck Care Center, Cyrano's Cafe, Embroider the Occasion, Greensfelder, Kind Soap, Polsinelli Shughart and Verde Kids. Community sponsors for 2012 are Hair Affair Salon, Hollyberry Baking Company and Provision Living.

To become a Friend of the Market, go to the market's Facebook page and print and return the form.  Everyone at the market appreciates your support.

Please note that we'll continue to hold the market in Gazebo Park this week and through the end of August. So come on over Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. to enjoy the shady, cool park, the great vendors and their tasty products.
