Proposition S is the one and only issue on the ballot countywide on April 3. It requires a super majority to pass, 57 percent. It's about spending $90 million to replace what was called the Juvenile Courts building when it was built 40 years ago. The politically correct renamed it the Family Courts Building. Perspective The building is on the former grounds of the County Hospital on Brentwood Boulevard.
