"Adventures in Learning" Classes are offered at the Shepherd's Center of Webster-Kirkwood, located at 1333 W. Lockwood Ave. in Glendale, 63122. Shepherd's Center of Webster-Kirkwood is a volunteer organization. This organization is a 501(c)3 charity that provides services and programs for the elderly. Programs offered include Shepherd's Travelers (to help seniors escape their daily routine and explore a fun destination during a one-day visit), Adventures in Learning (for clients interested in learning something new and vibrant, such as a dance or painting), Handy Hands (a volunteer program where volunteers provide minor home repairs for seniors), Chores Galore (volunteer yard work for seniors), the Resource Center (provides assistance in looking services and agencies) and Transportation Ministry (volunteers driving seniors to dental and medical appointments). All programs and services strive to put a positive spin on aging.
