The Community Music School of Webster University proudly presents Cello Fest 2012: Cellists without Borders, a concert celebrating music for the cello featuring cellists from St. Louis, Mexico, and Venezuela performing works by Villa-Lobos, John Williams, Popper, Klengel, John Phillips Sousa, Chuck Mangione, and more.
The concert will feature Jazz pianist Phil Dunlap and 17 cellists from St. Louis, Monterrey, Mexico, and Venezuela. Professional musicians include cellists Catherine Lehr and Temenuzhka Ostreva; pianist Vera Parkin; and conductor Leon Burke.
