DESCRIPTION:The Metro Edge Figure Skating Club of Missouri is proud to pr
 esent the 8th annual "Nutcracker on Ice".&nbsp\; This abridged one-hour 
 version of the Nutcracker is a magical experience the whole family will 
 enjoy!&nbsp\; This\, adapted to ice\, show is packed with skating set to
  the traditional Nutcracker music with magical sets as the backdrop.&nbs
 p\; Principal skaters are competitive skaters from the area who will spi
 n and jump their way through this holiday classic\, the show also featur
 es skaters of all ages&nbsp\;as adorable sweets\, mice\, fairies and mor
 e!\nThere will be&nbsp\;special appearances by national and internationa
 l competitor Barbie Long and World Champion Igor Lisovski.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
 We are thrilled to welcome Barbie as our featured guest skater. Barbie r
 ecently qualified to compete at the 2013 U.S. Figure Skating Championshi
 ps by taking the Gold at the 2013 Midwestern Sectional Champion&shy\;shi
 ps in Jr. Ladies. This will be Barbie&rsquo\;s third straight appearance
  at U.S. Nationals. Barbie made her international debut this past year a
 s a member of the USA Team competing in the junior division where she ea
 rned the Gold Medal at the Gardena Spring Trophy in Italy and earned the
  silver in her first ISU Junior Grand Prix event\, Sencila Bled Cup in S
 lovenia.&nbsp\; Barbie\, a 16 year old from St. Louis\, MO began skating
  at the age of 4 in the US Figure Skating Learn To Skate program.&nbsp\;
  World Champion Pairs skater\, Igor Lisovski will appear in the part of 
 Drosselmeir this year. Igor is the 1981 World and European Pairs Champio
 n. He has shared his love of figure skatine in &ldquo\;Stars on Ice&rdqu
 o\; and &ldquo\;Bolshoi on Ice&rdquo\;. He continues to do this by coach
 ing\, here in St. Louis. Igor is an International Master of Sports Honor
 s in Figures\, Freestyle and Pairs Skating.\nTickets are $12 at the door
  or $10 if purchased in advance\; children 4 and under are FREE.&nbsp\;
