A conversation moderated by Governor Bob Holden, Forum director and chairman of the Midwest U.S. China Association with an expert guest:
Mike Jones, Midwest China Hub Commission Chairman
The panel-based discussion is set to explore how the United States and China relate and/or compete. With the unsteady U.S. economy and changing Chinese political party (anticipated mid 2012), many are defining relations between the U.S. and China as perhaps less than superb.
So, where do you stand? Is China more competitor or collaborator? How should we compete? What steps should our government be taking to protect U.S. interests? What role will business play? Education?
