Webster U. Baseball Heading to College World Series

The baseball team is en route to the championship for the second year in a row.

The Webster University baseball team is heading back to Appleton, Wis., to hopefully finish what they started last year. After losing out to Marietta College in the NCAA Division 3 World Series last year, the Webster Gorloks are poised to face Kean University Friday. Webster University is one of eight teams in the battle for the championship scheduled for May 28. The Gorloks defeated Concordia University-Chicago 7-3 May 18 to nab the Augustana/Central Regional Championship title. Webster is ranked 12th in the division with a 32-9 record on the season. Where's the Cheapest Gas in Webster Groves?

As Memorial Day approaches, it's probably a good idea to gas up early this week to save money. Find gas prices in Webster Groves and around St. Louis here.

Nationwide, gas prices were predicted to be lower this summer compared to the last three years, but that won't translate into savings at the pump this Memorial Day weekend, experts said. "Motorists this year are facing rising gas prices heading into the Memorial Day holiday," said Michael Green, a AAA spokesman, adding that Memorial Day 2013 would probably be the most expensive since 2011.
