The soda fountain and grill opened this weekend on Gore Avenue.
The wait is over: Fizzy's Soda Fountain and Grill is now open in Webster Groves. After Dr. Jazz closed in Old Webster earlier this year, Fizzy's began to move in a few months after the vacancy on North Gore Avenue. Fizzy's Owner Michelle Bray gave Patch a tour last week of the revamped soda fountain spot, which offers handmade sodas, Ronnie's ice cream, and an array of American classics such as hamburgers and hot dogs. Fizzy's opened Saturday, just in time for business from Webster Grooves music festival attendees, which took place along Gore Avenue. What do you think? Have you stopped in at Fizzy's already? Tell us in the comments. RELATED CONTENT:

Euclid Owner Joe Schwab took the idea and crafted it into more than an unofficial grand opening for the record store's new home on Gore. After moving across town from Lockwood Avenue and filling space at 19 North Gore earlier this month, Euclid included La Cantina, CJ …

When Grace Mehan's father began decorating her bus stop, who could know it would become a symbol of joy and understanding throughout the community?
About this sponsorship: In honor of the 60th anniversary of Sir Edmund Hillary’s historic ascent of Mount Everest, Patch and Grape-Nuts are teaming up to highlight those who inspire people around them to climb their own mountains. Grace's Glendale Bus Stop got its start when a young lady, Grace Mehan, who has Down Syndrome, wanted to take the bus on her own. The bus stop was in a dangerous location, so dad Tom Mehan decorated and built a bench for the bus stop. That singular act took on a life of its own and spread joy and compassion throughout the local community and beyond. Here, Grace's mother, Colleen Mehan, shares the story of Grace's Glendale Bus Stop with Patch readers. Q: What’s the biggest challenge you’ve taken on? A: In general…
