Cops: Dierberg's Cashier Was Stuffing Merchandise into Her Clothes

Plus: Hundreds of feet of copper go missing from a home.

The following information was supplied by the Warson Woods Police Department. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions. March 17: Police are searching for the owner of a small travel bag that was found on the road in the 1500 block of Bennett Avenue. It was turned in to police around 6:25 p.m., but nothing in the bag identifies the owner was in the bag. The bag is being held at the police department. March 18: A cashier at the Dierberg’s located at 9901 Manchester Road was arrested at 7:50 p.m. for stealing from the store. Police said loss prevention officers spotted the 54-year-old Breckenridge Hills woman concealing merchandise in her clothes. She posted $200 bond and was released. March 21: A resident of …

Thefts Top Recent Police Calls in Webster Groves

Webster Groves police report thefts and more in this most recent edition of police blotter.

The following information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Jan. 23: At 10:25 a.m., a person reported leaving their cell phone on the McDonald's parking lot at 3635 Big Bend Road. However, when the person returned to the parking lot to find the phone, it was not there. Delayed Police Report: A resident in the 500 block of Locust Court filed a police report his month, however the crime took place around Dec. 25. The resident reported license plates were stolen, but was not sure where the car was parked when the plates were taken. Jan. 15: At approximately 6:00 p.m., a person playing basketball at the Webster Groves Recreation Complex reported having a cell phone…

Suspects made off with electronics from a residence but came up empty handed after breaking into an Old Webster office building.

She was arrested in a jurisdiction. Other jurisdictions investigating similar crimes now have forensics available to cross match. She got busted in one city then other cities find the first forensics match thus multiple arrests and charges. 2bad4her - she can't get concurrent sentences in separate incidents. Each are tried on their own. Lots more jail time in her future. .   more ›
