The Trainwreck Saloon Wins Mid-County Fried Chicken Food Fight

It was a close vote, but the Rock Hill eatery came out on top. Next week, we're switching things up in our Readers' Choice battle and asking you to pick your favorite Mid-County park for summer fun.

The Trainwreck Saloon in Rock Hill is the winner in this week's Food Fight, in which we asked readers for their choice for the best spot for fried chicken in Mid-County. The restaurant won with 36 percent of the vote among the finalists in the competition. This is the second Readers' Choice award Trainwreck has won this year. In February, it nabbed the best spot for fries in Mid-County. No restaurant is ever going to satisfy everyone's tastes and we're no exception. We have plenty of authentic menu items like our barbocoa, chile rellenos, pozole, ceviche, tamales, etc. that are all made with traditional family recipes.
