Fuzzy's Taco Shop Moving in Off Manchester Road

It opened its first location in Webster Groves early last year, now Fuzzy's Taco Shop is moving into its second St. Louis location off Manchester Road in March.

Fuzzy's Taco Shop is set to move in off Manchester Road in West County.  This will be the second St. Louis area location for Fuzzy's Taco Shop, according to Managing Partner Scott Bonner who operates the St. Louis locations.  Bonner tells Patch, the first location opened last year at 8073 Watson Road in Webster Groves.  "We've been in this location since last February and it's a franchise that originated out of Texas," Bonner explained.  (Read Previous Story: Fuzzy's Taco Shop Opens Today in Yorkshire Plaza) The restaurant serves Mexican food with a twist, including burritos, enchilada plates, tamale and and tacos. Fuzzy's Taco Shop opens its first St. Louis location today in Yorkshire Plaza. The Fort Worth, TX,-based chain, which currently has more than 40 locations in nine states, is located at 8073 Watson Rd., the former home of Pizza Street. Fuzzy's is a fast-casual type restaurant, which serves Baja-style Mexican food in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Franchisee Scott Bonner, who is originally from Fort Worth, told Patch that fish tacos are the company's "claim to fame."  "Fuzzy's is known for its fish tacos, fun atmosphere, flavorable food and fair prices," he said Thursday during a VIP party.  And the restaurant does have fair prices with items ranging between $1.99 for a taco to $7.99 for a fajita plate. The best part? I agree with all posters so far. STL is not short on good Mexican food. There are some serious chefs putting out some excellent Mexican food. I am a home-grown Texan. As long as the food is made with passion and attention to ingredients, it is going to be as "authentic" and as good as it gets. New Mexican Restaurant Coming to Webster Groves

Fuzzy's Taco Shop plans to open its first St. Louis location at the corner of Watson and Laclede Station roads.

Good news for fish taco lovers! A new Mexican restaurant specializing in the latest craze is opening soon in Webster Groves. Fuzzy's Taco Shop will be located at 8073 Watson Rd., the former home of Pizza Street. The Fort Worth, TX,-based chain currently has more than 40 locations in nine states and is expanding into Missouri and Oklahoma.  Franchisee Scott Bonner told the Riverfront Times that fish tacos are the company's "claim to fame." He added that the restaurant will open in a month or so. Fuzzy's is a fast-casual type restaurant, which serves Baja-style Mexican food in a fun, energetic atmosphere, according its Facebook Page, which has more than 43,000 likes. Fans have given the chain a rating of four and a half stars.
