Last Chance: Jim Schoemehl 5K Run

Our "Last Chance" feature lets you know about important upcoming deadlines.

The Jim Schoemehl 5K Run takes place Saturday at Webster Groves High School. The run will benefit of a Ballwin family affected by ALS and the ALS Association. The 11th annual event is sponsored by the marketing class at Webster Groves High School. Tickets for the event are $10 for students and $20 for adults if purchased by Friday, May 10. Last Chance: Medical Equipment Drive

Our "Last Chance" feature lets you know about important upcoming deadlines.

Don't forget! There will be a medical equipment drive at Webster Groves City Hall Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. St. Louis HELP will be collecting donations of manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, canes/crutches/walkers, electric hospital beds, shower chairs, tub benches, grab bars, elevated toilet seats, portable commodes, lift chairs, seating cushions, back supports, folding ramps and more. Last Chance: Holy Redeemer Pop Culture Trivia Night

Our "Last Chance" feature lets you know about important upcoming deadlines.

Like pop culture trivia? Then be sure to reserve a spot as soon as possible this week for Pop Culture Trivia Night at Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish.  The event will be held at the Holy Redeemer Church Parish Center at 341 E. Lockwood Ave. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and trivia will begin at 7 p.m. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, mulligans, prizes and other fun games. The cost is $25 per person or $200 for a table of eight players.  All proceeds benefit Holy Redeemer Parish and people in Haiti for clean water, healthcare and education. You can find more information about the fundraiser in our event calendar. Last Chance: Benefit Jazz Concert in Webster Groves Sunday

Our "Last Chance" feature lets you know about important upcoming deadlines.

On Sunday, April 22, the nationally acclaimed jazz group The Oîkos Ensemble, led by Cleveland saxophonist Clifford Aerie, will perform a benefit concert at the First Congregational Church of Webster Groves. The concert, which begins at 3 p.m., will raise money for the Sunshine Cultural Arts Center in East St. Louis. Tickets are $20. The Sunshine Cultural Arts Center will be the name of a building acquired by the Community Performance Ensemble of East St. Louis, a music and dance group for children of disadvantaged income. Last Chance: Memorial Concert to Benefit Former Webster Resident

A concert/auction is set for Saturday at Eden Theological Seminary to benefit head and neck cancer research in memory of Paul Wehling, formerly of Webster Groves.  Nationally acclaimed artist Javier Mendoza will headline the evening with his artful blend of Latin, pop and rock music. Don’t miss local folk and jazz muscians who will perform throughout the night. The evening kicks off with a silent auction and drawing. Tickets are available at the door for $12. Last Chance: Easter Egg Hunt for Kids on Saturday

Our "Last Chance" feature lets you know about important upcoming deadlines.

The last Easter egg hunt for children in the Webster Groves area is set for Saturday at First Congregational Church of Webster Groves. The cities of Rock Hill and Webster Groves held their egg hunts this past weekend. The event, which begins at 10 a.m., is for children in preschool through second grade. The event, which will be held indoors, will start in the church library with craft making. Last Chance: Adult Easter Egg Hunt Friday

Our new "Last Chance" feature lets you know about important upcoming deadlines.

Thursday is the last day to register for the Webster Groves, Kirkwood, Shrewsbury Adult Easter Egg Hunt. You can call any of the three cities' recreation centers to reserve your spot for only $5. Those who show up for the event the night of will pay $10. The event will be held at the Lion's Pavilion at Kirkwood Park. You can find more information about the egg hunt in our event calendar.
