Theatre Guild of Webster Groves to Present Touching Comedy
Over the River and Through the Woods will be performed at the theatre guild.
Although community theater as we know it can be traced back at least as far as the 1700s, the Theatre Guild of Webster Groves planted its roots in 1926—in its current location since 1951—and continues to serve Webster and the surrounding communities to this day. The tradition continues when the Guild presents Over the River and Through the Woods, by Joe DiPietro, Jan, 7-9 and 13-16, Fri, Sat, 8pm; Sun, 2pm. The story revolves around Nick Cristano and his two sets of grandparents. When the 27-year-old Nick decides to take a promotion out of town, his grandparents begin their schemes to derail his plans and keep him around.
