Police: Stolen Shotgun Found in Rock Hill Home

The following information was supplied by the Rock Hill Police Department for the week ending Sept. 26. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Thursday, Sept. 20 Police were called for a traffic accident in the 9300 block of Manchester. One person was transported to the hospital and an Ameren utility pole was damaged. Friday, Sept. 21 A stolen shotgun was recovered from a vacant home in the 1000 block of Charleville.  Sunday, Sept. 23 Monday, Sept. 24 Police responded to an alarm sounding in the 1100 block of Wagner Pl. An investigation revealed an insecure rear door, but the building checked secure. Tuesday, Sept. 25 Someone called police regarding an open door on a home in the 900 block of Fairdale. Further investigation revealed the wind most likely blew the doo open. Nothing was disturbed. Wednesday Sept. 26 A resident in the 1100 block of Martha reported an identity theft. …

Two Home Burglaries Reported in Webster Groves Last Week

The following information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department for the week ending Sept. 29. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Sunday, Sept. 23 A burglary was reported in the 400 block of Southside in which three televisions, a laptop computer and a Blue Ray system were taken. The incident occurred between 1:30 pm on Sept. 22 and 11:30 am on Sept. 23. The suspect entered the home through a rear sliding glass door.   Thursday, Sept. 27 At 8:58 am a resident in the 500 block of Holland reported that someone stole her driver's license and used it as identification during an investigative stop by the Brentwood Police. Police Make Arrest in Burglary at Mac Do It Best Hardware

The following information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department for the week ending Sept. 22. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Sunday, Sept. 16 A rock was thrown into a home in the first block of West Thornton breaking a window and damaging a television. The incident occurred near midnight. Tuesday, Sept. 18 A resident on Wilshire Terrace reported that someone had gained access to his/her credit card account and made fraudulent purchases through the Internet. Tuesday, Sept. 18 Someone broke a window to gain entry into Mac Do It Best Hardware at 40 East Lockwood. Two cash drawers and cash were taken. The incident happened between the evening of Sept. 17 and the morning of Sept. 18. Police have made an arrest and formal charges are pending. Police Investigating Jewelry Theft at Warson Woods Antique Gallery

Wednesday, Sept. 12 A woman renting space at the Warson Woods Antique Gallery at 10091 Manchester Rd. reported the theft of more than $2,300 in jewelry from a locked display case. The thefts occurred between Aug. 27 and Sept. 7. Police are investigating. Friday, Sept. 14 A 48-year-old Warson Woods man was arrested and charged in municipal court with improper lane use, no proof of insurance, and driving with a suspended license after he struck another vehicle while turning into a parking lot in the 10000 block of Manchester Road at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 Police were dispatched for a report of a disturbance at a business in the 9900 block of Manchester Rd. at 10:40 a.m. A man became irate because he claimed he was almost struck by a …

Intoxicated Man Found Sleeping in Gazebo at Rock Hill Park

Thursday, Sept. 6 Police were called for a trespasser at a gas station in the 9600 block of Manchester. A field interview was conducted, and the subject was sent on his way. Friday, Sept. 7 Police received a call for a suspicious person who appeared to be asleep in the gazebo at Whitfield Park at N. Berry Road and Madison Avenue. An investigation revealed the man was intoxicated. A relative was notified, and he was conveyed home. Saturday, Sept. 8 Police were called for several juveniles walking on vehicles in the 200 block of Madison. The subjects were gone upon arrival of police. Traffic Stop in Webster Groves Results in Drug Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department for the week ending Sept. 15. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Sunday, Sept. 9 Wednesday, Sept. 12 Thursday, Sept. 13  Between the evening of Sept. 12 and the morning of Sept.13, someone unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry into the rear door of Mac Do It Best Hardware at 40 East Lockwood. Friday, Sept. 14 A vehicle that was parked in the first block of Mason was damaged between the evening of Sept. 13 and the morning of Sept. 14. Saturday, Sept. 15 At 8:30 p.m. police discovered marijuana in a vehicle during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Reasnor. The driver was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Vehicle Stolen In Webster Groves Recovered in East St. Louis

Monday, Sept. 3 Tuesday, Sept. 4  At 3:30 p.m. someone deposited a fraudulent check for more than $6,000 into their account at Arsenal Credit Union. The person later made an unsuccessful attempt to withdrawal the money. Police have identified a person of interest. Thurdsay, Sept. 6  A vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of East Waymire was stolen between 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 6. The car was later recovered abandoned in East St. Louis. Friday, Sept. 7 At 7:45 p.m. someone damaged the front window of a business in the 8100 block of Big Bend.

Warson Woods Police: Kids Shooting Air Guns Asked to Leave Area

Friday, Aug. 30 Saturday, Sept. 1 A 26-year-old Creve Coeur woman was arrested and charged in municipal court with driving while intoxicated following a suspicious vehicle check in front of a closed business in the 10000 block of Manchester Road at 3:10 am. Wednesday, Sept. 5 A resident of the 800 block of Havenwood Court reported a gold bracelet stolen from her home some time during the previous week. Several workers have been in the home recently. Police are investigating.

Woman Arrested For Holding Ex-Boyfriend Captive in Her Apartment

The following information was supplied by the Rock Hill Police Department for the week ending Aug. 29. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Thursday, Aug. 23 An abandoned vehicle which had been parked at Hudson and Salem Hills was towed by police pending notification of the owner.  Friday, Aug. 24 Saturday, Aug. 25  A disturbance in the 9300 block of Manchester was reported when an older subject began striking another person's vehicle. Both parties were separated by police and peace was restored. Sunday, Aug. 26 Monday, Aug. 27 A person was arrested for several drug charges in the 2800 block of Raritan. Police are continuing to investigate.  Tuesday, Aug. 28 Wednesday, Aug. 29 Two people were caught stealing from a drug store in the 9800 block of Manchester. They were acting suspiciously in the store, and when they left, police caught them with the stolen goods.

Sunday, Aug. 26 Tuesday, Aug 30 A resident of an apartment in the 400 block of East Lockwood said that between June 30 and Aug. 30, someone removed jewelry from his/her apartment. The incident is under investigation.
