The Piccadilly in Maplewood is the winner in this week's Food Fight, in which we asked readers for their choice for best brunch in Mid-County. The restaurant won with 71 percent of the vote among the finalists in the competition. Last month, The Piccadilly won the Patch Readers' Choice Award for having the best barbeque in Mid-County. We read your comments on Patch, as well as comments posted to our Patch Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. Here are your choices: Square One Brewery in Lafayette Square and GC Brewery in Creve Coeur also were nominated; however, neither are in Mid-County. No restaurant is ever going to satisfy everyone's tastes and we're no exception. We have plenty of authentic menu items like our barbocoa, chile rellenos, pozole, ceviche, tamales, etc. that are all made with traditional family recipes.
